Social Nets. (networks)

The places of social nets, like MySpace, Facebook, Tuenti.. They have atrackted millions of users, many of which use these social net started in 1997. Six.Degrees.com, it allowed the users to create profiles. From there, nets have been abancing increasingly. Now the majority of people deass with social nets thet they often use.

I think that social nets are a good inventation, which helps us to comunicate more and to have a better. Social level, since social nets are used to know people or simply to speak with your friends. Let's say that social nets open new ways of communication of the human begin.

It is necessary to consider thet there are also risks in the abuse of social nets, as Facebook or Tuenti that million users grup in the whole world. The danger affects principally the adolescents. Seven of every ten members of these nets are 35 years old minors.

Their selection of the contacts does not the acces to the information of any person, provate information, photos or documents.

Becaus of it, i think that people thet ypu don't know must not have permissed to accede to your net. In your Tuenti you can chose a privaciti opinion.

Everyone who has an account in a social net, specially the adolescents, should have privacity in his profile. They should conceal all his information, his images and documents that contains the account of his social net.

Gripe A (H1N1)

The 2009 flu pandemic is a global outbreak of a new strain of an influenza A virus subtype H1N1, referred to as the "novel H1N1" first identified in April 2009, and commonly called "swine flu." It is thought to be a reassortment of four known strains of influenza A virus.

The outbreak began in Mexico, with evidence that Mexico was already in the midst of an epidemic for months before the outbreak was recognized. Soon after, its government closed down most of Mexico City's public and private offices and facilities to help contain the spread. In early June, as the virus spread globally, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak to be a pandemic, but also noted that most illnesses were of moderate severity.

In an attempt to slow the spread of the illness, a number of countries, especially in Asia, have quarantined airline passengers with flu symptoms, while some are also pre-screening passengers. WHO does not expect to have a full vaccine before the end of 2009, and vaccines available sooner may be limited and given first to healthcare workers, pregnant women, and other higher risk groups. Two or three injections will be required for maximum immunity from both the swine flu and seasonal flu. There is also concern if the new virus mutates further, it could become more virulent and less susceptible to any new vaccine.

Trainspotting.

Trainspotting is a Scotch movie of 1996 directed by Danny Boyle and based on the novel written by Irvine Welsh. It treats of a group of heroin addicts of Edinburgh that they do not have aspirations in his step along the life.

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. The philosophy of life that there presents the principal personage, Mark Renton, is summarized in a question: why to choose life? Renton indicates initially of the movie that to continue to the mass and to take a normal life is complicated. Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009),

Jackson's personal life generated significant controversy. He married twice, first in 1994 and again in 1996, and brought up three children, one of them born to a surrogate mother. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted of child molestation allegations. Family Guy is an animated television series created for adults in 1999 by Seth MacFarlane. The series was canceled in 2002 (Fox was removed from television), but due to public demand the series returned in 2005 with a new series — created by Seth MacFarlane-called American Dad.

Family Guy aired on January 31, 1999 in U.S.

The show usually revolves around the adventures of Peter Griffin, a bumbling but well-intentioned blue-collar worker. On Saturday 27 December 2008 I went with some friends at the Polock concert at the Wah Wah local in Valencia. It was the anniversary of Polock. Polock is a group of Valencia but they sing in English. It’s a proyect created by Papu but consolidated as a band with the integration of Marc, Alberto, Sebas and Pablo. Papu is Carla's boyfriend, she is my friend and she is the Polock's art work and desing. I like very much her job and i bought a Polock's t-shirt. I liked the concert very much. Carla designed a masks and played photos in te concert(http://www.flickr.com/polockband). My friends and my were all the time in the front line, the most fun was at the end of the concert because Carla Little and the band made a raffle and i won a poster and my friend Luis won a t-shirt as the mine and a EP with the songs. My friend Andrea came to my home to sleep, because it was very late and my cousin Paula and her boyfriend took us home.

WILLIAM OCKHAM ( c.1287-1347 ).

He was a Franciscan friar, among the most prominent figures in the history of philosophy during the High Middle Ages.

He is best known today for his principle know as " Ockham Razor ": "entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity". He is important not inly in metaphysics, also in other areas of medieval philosophy-logic, physics or natural philosophy, ethics, political and theology.

LIFE:

Ockham was born in 1287 in Surrey. He studied at Oxford and early he entered the Order of St.Francis.

Denounced by Pope John XXII for dangerous teachings, he was held in house detention for four years in Avignon ( France ), while the ortodoxy of his writings was examined.

After Ockham fled to Munich in 1328 to seek the protection of Louis IV and he wrote the papacy and defended the emperor his death.

He died in Munich, apparently of the plague, while seeking reconciliation with Pope Clement VI.

WRITINGS:

Ockham´s writings are divided in "academic" and the "political". Most important writings are:

- Commentary on the Sentences of Peter Lombard.

- Seven Quodlibets.

- Summa of Logic.

- Questions on Aristoteles Books of the Physics.

Piles 08

In October we went to Piles.

The housing was a one stepaeay form the sea and Iliked it so muuch.

In my room I slept with my friends Carla, Marga and Silvia.

I liked the room so much because it sea view.

Those daya did a lot of heat, so wen we arrived and we saw Piles's sea we awam on the sea, but I not had led swimsuit.

I also liked the terrace, where I could see dawn.

My teacher Loli sent us an activity to the plastic subject, we had to make photos that we liked it.

I taked pictures from the beach, to some friends, the road trip to the tower we did the last day, the hostel, all with a personal touch because I like to take pictures.

In the beach we made a competition sand ans I won because I got into a hole and then my friends Eva and Carla made me a giants feets and the effect was very funny.

The food was good and I liked the coffee machines.

At night we played night games.

The last day we didn´t trip because it was very good at the beach and we taked the sun and we had quite red face.

It was a very relaxed trip, but I miss my friend Elisa and my messenger.

Countable nouns.

Countable nouns are easy to recognize. They are things that we can count. For example: "pen". We can count pens. We can have one, two, three or more pens. Here are some more countable nouns:

Countable nouns can be singular or plural:

Accident Spanair

This summer I travel to Ibiza's airoport because I went to Formentera. I wasn´t afraid, but the turn had a few turbulences. One month after, on August 20, 2008 Spanair Flight JK 5022, from Barajas airport in Madrid to Gran Canaria airport, crashed just afer take off from runway of Barajas airoport at 14:45.

It is the world´s worst aviation accident in 2008 an Spanair´s worst in 25 years because 154 people died.

Sources initially reported as few as 2 to 45 deaths; however as the incident unfolded, the emergency rescue only 18 survivors.

Spanish newspapers have reported that the left engine was discovered in the wreckage with its reverse thurst, used to slow down the plane during landing, activated.

They said the pilot may had put the engine in reverse in an effort to abort the take off because he noticed the plane lacked the power to get off the ground.

Several of the suvivors said the plane appeared to lack the necessary power on the runway.

Days later my friend Elisa traveled from trip to Sicily in an airplane Spanair´s Company, I was scared a little but soon I thought that it´s not necesary to be scared to fly in airplane because by probability it´s less dangerous. I like to travel and to know new sites, so I will travel in airplane the next time.

MUSIC

This summer has been funny because I have played music all the time , in my ipod or in my PC.
A new friend showed me a video in Youtube and I liked so much. It was a band MGMT, and this
is that I know about musical group:

MGMT, is an American musical group based in Brooklyn ( New York ) in 2002 and its members are Andrew Van Wyngarden and Ben Goldwasser.

Their album " Oracular Spectacular " is a second album edited in 2007, I like it very much.
This band experimented with noise rock and electronica. Its members graduated in 2005.

The band supported " Radiohead " on Manchester date of their world tour and have announced a head line tour of the U.K. during November 2008.

The song that I like is " Time to Pretend ". In this song opens a box of surprises with psicodelia of 60´s, mixture of sintetizers of 80´s, sunny California and surf, the hippie, the harmony of folk-rock groups, mixed with the dark New York of the Velvet Underground and the first Pink Floyd. It´s a mixture of imaginative, space music deluded eternal and prestigious magazines of music define as a the hope rock.

" Oracular Spectacular " is filled with more traditional rock instruments: electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, syntetizers all played live.

Their songs filled with all those college feelings, naviety, idealism, happiness, sadness and this album distills the essence of the past, promises and portends the future, and offers an absorbing transformative experience between the present.

I think that when I play MGMT´s music i open my mind to the multi-dimensional vibratin technicolor.

My holidays

My friend Silvia invited me to her apartament at July in Benicassim. I was during one week. We was happy. We went to beach and swimming-pool, and we went to dinner to maritim walk.
The one week after I went to Formentera with my parents. There was beautiful beach as every years. We were six days and I was very well because the beach was very cleaning, ( my friend Carla Vela said me that she went to Ibiza and Formentera and she liked it too ).
I have spent my time on holidays with my Rocafort´s friends: Rafa, Luis , Dani, Juan, and Andrea, Laura , they are skaters, and they go to play skate in a Burjasot´s Park ( The Farm ).
I have spent some days with Carla Duval, Marga, Eva, and one day I stayed with Elisa and her friend Raquel in L´Eliana and we spent a very funny afternoon.
I have spent some days in July with my friends of Third ESO of Escuela 2: Carlos, Lucas, Adriá,
Paula, Susana. And I went with Paula to Plantío´s partys.
The most funny day have been a costume party in Rocafort with my friends.
I went to Denia, Mareny de Barraquetes and Puig, some days more of beach.

I hope to spend the last days of my holidays on September with my friends in godella and Burjasot´s park, and I will go to La Cañada´s feast.

COLOGNE - GERMANY

We arrived at Cologne on Sunday and we went directly to the housing wich it was very close to the station. we left the suitcases, we installed and we went to the chocolate´s museum walking, this way was also very close. we turn next to the cathedral, but we would go the next day to see it. The chocolate´s museum was fine, we bought much chocolate in the stores and we left , my friends and me, alone at the housing.

The next day, we got up at 7:30 am to leave the room clean . At 9:oo am, we had breakfast and stored the suitcases. We went to visit the cathedral.

Cologne Cathedral, is an architectural monument in Germany, described by UNESCO as an exceptional work of human creative geniuos.

Cologne Cathedral is one of the world´s largest gothic church in Northern Europe.

The construction began in 1248, with interruptions, until 1880. It is 144 meters long, 86,5 m. wide and its two towers are 157m tall.

during the World War II, the Cathedral suffered four teen hits by aerial bombs. the repairs to the building were completed in 1956.

The design of Cologne Cathedral is Gothic architecture. It was two aisles on either sid, wich help to support one of the very highest Gothic vaults in the world. the quire retains a great many of its original fittings, including the carved stalls, wich is made nose surprising by the fact that napoleon´s troops had desecrated the building. a large stone statue of St. Christopher looks down towards the place where the earlier entrance to the Cathedral was , before its completion in the last 19th century. The Cathedral has twelve church bells, four are Medieval.

Then we went to eat at Mc Donald´s and we went to shop to buy gifts. We went to our luggage and we went to the station to return to Spain. So I spent very well and I really enjoyed all the trips we made by train.

WITTMUND- Eurofriends

We were to germany Wenesday 14th May. All the day to arrive, first in airplane and soon in train.

Whwn we arrived the families gathered to us in the station of the train; I arrived my home´s eurofriend and I saw that it was very pretty.

My german eurofriend called Pia, and she had three younger brothers. The next day we arrived to school and we did a tour by bus in Wittmund. That day, Silvia and me went tosee coach football to our eurofriends and we slept in the house´s friend Silvia. The third day we did works at school and they made us a party at night with disco.

The fourth day everybody did parade in Wittmund and evening we were on town and then Silvia and carmen came; Carmen slept with me last night.

the fifth day we stayed in the train station at 7:00 am, we said goodbay to families and traveled to Cologne.

I think I had good luck with my eurofriend and her family, and I will never forget them.

Transport: It´s a special vehicle for the groom, by example a Mercedes car or a limousine.

Wedding Themes: Like royal, fantasy or romatic need a higher budget. Decoration consists of numerous colums and pillars with eleborated lighting and decor. Indians like bright colors like red, orange, golden, brown and violet.

Songs: Are really melodious. The weddings songs are arranged and are also sung on the wedding day. The songs played are soffer since the bride is about to leave her parents
house.

Arranged wedding

Indian marriages are all about tradition, customs and rituals. As compared to marriages all around the world, Indian marriages are elaborate events. In India, marriages are not only about the bride and the groom but also the mingling of their families. Traditionally, marriages in India were arranged by family members.

Differences

The rituals also vary depending on the culture and religion of the bride and the groom. Amongst all the Indian Weddings, the Punjabi or Sindhi weddings are celebrated over a span of one week, were as the Christiasn weddings require much lesser time. The Indian Wedding rituals vary among
different castes and classes as well; Bengali, Hindu, Kashmiri, Marwari, Punjabi, Buddhist, Muslim, Talim. Punjabi ladies sing and dance on the tunes, other is where the groom´s shoes are hidden by the bride´s relatives and friends and a negotiation takes place regarding the price wich has to be paid for it to be turned; Bhangras and Giddas are dance.

Indian wedding ceremonies make up the Indian weddings. The rituals may differ slightly depending on wich part of Indian the couple comes from. The ceremonies can be divided into three basic parts : Pre-Wedding Ceremonies, Main Day Ceremonies and Post Wedding Ceremonies, while in our church and civil marriages there is only one day Ceremonie and then there may be a trip of them alone, the bride and groom, without their family.

Easter

On Thursday started Easter´s Festivity.

In Easter´s days pepole used to eat easter pancakes and fly kites. Another typical activity is painting eggs with diferents colours and play with them trying to found them in any diferent places. On this days i have been with my friends and my family. This year the first day of easter has been the same day that finished fallas in Valencia. And this is something that will hapehd again in many sigles.

On Friday i went out with Silvia to Elisa´s house. There we went to the shopping center of El Osito, but it was closed and we returned to the center of L´eliana and there we ate.

On Saturday i went with my friends to Nuevo Centro. I bought a green scarf. we went to Mcdonald´s. I the afternoon i went with Silvia and Carla to eat an easter pancake after we visited a new park of La Cañada .

On Sunday at ten o´clok i went to play tennis with Silvia. It was my class number four. I like very much tennis.

On monday, the last day of holy week i stayed with my mum and my dad in my house reading my englesh book: Anne of Green Gables, and doing my blog.

Fallas

Fallas began on Friday and at my school we did a party. In this party we burned one litle falla (a tipical monument of valencia).

On Saturday i went to carla vela´s house with Silvia and Elisa. There we talked with ours eurofriends, Pia and Katrin. They have a 13 years old, they are from Germany.

On Sunday i went with my family to a familiar lounch to celebrated the Birthday of my aunts. On the afternoon I went with my friend Silvia to the falla of La Callada, it is a small falla with a magican on the top of it. I didn´t like it. Later Silvia stayed in my home all the night.

On Monday i went to the Farm of Burjasot with my friends. Its on skate park. And i stayed there all the afternoon, at twelve o´clok i sow with my friend "La nit del foc" it was very colorful and amazing. The next day i did the same but i went to the city hall and i saw the "Mascletà" . It was noisey. On the afternoon i went to the Farm again. And i spent all the time there with my fiends.

On Wednesday i went with my friends: Paula, Susana, Carlos, Andriá and Andrea all of them are from the same class, 3º eso.
My friend Leonor come from Valencia in the old subway of La Cañada. His parents thought she was lost becouse she told her brother where she was going to be, but her parents didn´t know anicing about her. She returned to Valencia. Went she left us my friends and i want to Manolo´s Pizzeria to have lunch.

The last day of fallas all the monuments (fallas) burned. The falleras were very sad but i didn´t see any of those fallas. One friend come to my home. We didn´t sleep nathing, we were all the night speaking.

Computers vs. Books

According to an OfSTED The link between books and achievement, however, does come with a lot of conclusive evidence. This is perhaps unsurprising to you and me, but rather worryingly not to the leader of the study, Malcolm Dixon, who commented that ‘It is surprising that books matter.’

There are many who believe that the traditional book is being phased out in favour of the computer.
The reason I question the prevailing view is that as a child, my friends and I envisioned a world of the not-too-distant future in which we read all our novels on a screen, perhaps not even moving our eyes to read.

My opinion:

I think that all books can be available to everyone on the Internet, but it is always more pleasant to have it in their hands.

Christmas

This Christmas I wentas to the cinema and I heve been with my

family and my frends.

The nigth before christmas, I went to the home of my

Also we did the invisible friend gift. This year y had gift to my cousin Paula.

My Emviroment.

La Cañada´s forest in near my home many neighbours go for

a wolk there, I like to wolk my dog Neo, but very carefully,

because he likes to pursue rabbits.

We can see there a lot of rubbish from people´s homes

or from his reforms.

Nobody fines them, and this rubbish is a danger, because

it can start an important fire.

Although the Natural Park is a pribately owned, the

City Council of Paterna should keep the forest clean,

paying cleaning services or assisting voluntary

brigades.

I would go to clean although I never soiled.

The fires of this summer!

The summer with two great fires in the Canary Islands began. Later those of

Greece and soon in Castellón. Those of Greece with the misfortune of human losses.

In La Vallesa forest, two small fires, the last one in the middle of August, that affected 5.000 m2 ( 200 of them of forest land ). And it´s that

every year, in summer, and taking advantage of winds the west, is some

unscrupulous one that tries to burn the forests of any site, and thus to take

advantage of the lands wich no longer they serve for anything, to construct leaned and to

fatten its pockets with real estate sales that report much money to their owners.

Luckily, La vallesa forest already it´s a Nature park, proteged ofiicially by the

State, but to wich all we have obligation to protect.

A boat sunk in Ibiza!

July 10th, the merchant "Don Pedro" sank near the coast of Ibiza.

Broken cracks of this boat removed to the surface their fuel. Quickley

10 tons took shelter of fuel, but ttree beaches were closed by the spill

of the ship and they had to put burriers anticontamination to try to res-

train the fuel.

As many we know, Ibiza is an island specially characterized by its

tourism, for misfortune of wich it was called on to see excellent

stained beaches of black liquid to then covering borders and sand,

would be a horrible vision.

Figueretas, Embossa and Talamanca beaches were in danger

their tourism because the spill could cause a serious danger for the

natural resources or for the health of peoples.

As opposed to stained Ibiza and its coasts it is the island of Formentera,

and just opposite the beach it is Illetes beaches, with its white sand and

spectacular blue waters, that I like to see when I go in summer. This year

I was in August and I had the luck of wich the spot of the spill, that the

winds and tides of this summer, as soon as they arrived until there.

But tris summer the fiction has made reality, because the strong rain provocated
in United Kingdom inundations.

Biography:

Violence is an increasing problem in our society.Battered women

deserbe a special focus, and themselves are the primary victims,

but the secundary victims are their children.

One point of intervention to break this cycle of violence would

norms that tolerate domestic violence. Because of findings like

My routines!

I wake up at 8:00 (except on weekend I always wake up after 9:00).

I have milk with colacao for breakfast. I go to school in the car´s mum,

and I never arrive late. I have lunch at school, I enjoy in my class with my

friends and my teacher Maria.

School finishes at 4:30, but my mum picks up at 5p.m,because I can to play

with my friends many time. On Tuesday and Thursday I play dance at 7p.m

on Paterna Theatre. On Thursday first I play volleyball.

I usually do my homework and I talk with my friends on the Internet.

I usually have dinner at 9 p.m., my favourite food is egg and chips.

Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar,lead vocals)

Mike Dirnt (bass)

Tre Cool (drums).

The band has sold over 30 million albums in USA,and over 70 million records

worldwide.Green Day currently has three "Grammy Awards" under their belt

for ALTERNATIVE ALBUM for Dookie,Best Rock Album for American Idiot and

Record of the Year for their single "Boulevard of Broken Dreams".

History:

In 1989,Armstrong,Dirnt and Al Sobrante (former member) decided to form

Green Day and performed their first show is the courtyard of Contra Costa College,

junior college in California.

The band made to sign to Lookout Records. In 19921 first to feature Tre Cool

on drums.

Musical style and influences:

Green Day´s sound is often compared to first wave punk rock bands such

as the Ramones,and The Clash.

Armstrong´s lyrics describe alienation, hysteria,girls,Ramones had similar

lyrical themes.
